Assistant Band Director

Job Description

Arp ISD is looking for an Assistant Band Director for the 2026-27 school year, preferably a percussionist or brass player. Arp ISD is a 3A district located near Tyler, TX with consistent sweepstakes. The Arp Tiger Band receives outstanding support from administration, faculty, and parents. Our band is an important part of the community.

Must have a degree in Music Education from an accredited college/university and have a valid Texas teaching certificate. Experience with front ensemble/sound system/microphones is a bonus as well as DCI experience. This person will teach beginner method classes, work with the High School Band for UIL competition, as well as help students prepare for All-Region and Solo and Ensemble Contest.

Pay Scale
- Arp Teacher Pay Scale with Band Stipend

Contract- 11 month (202 days)
