Description/Notes:
Leader of Leaders. Responsible for the overall campus instructional program while directing and managing the overall operation of the campus. Engaging in leading a movement toward increasingly higher academic achievement through cutting edge instructional practices, risk taking, policy compliance, efficient operational management, and charisma.
Additionally, qualified applicants must exhibit working knowledge of curriculum and instruction, ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness with providing diagnostic and prescriptive feedback for growth, ability to manage budget and personnel, ability to implement policy and procedures, ability to interpret data, and excellent organization, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Qualified applicants must interact effectively with students to promote positive attitudes toward the school’s programs, while facilitating positive teacher implementation of concepts and content in all grade levels and instructional areas.
Qualified applicants must exhibit the skills to facilitate staff development including inservice activities focused on professional learning, while providing supportive materials. Qualified applicants must have a proven track record of high professional and ethical standards, and experience with leading others with integrity, character, and charisma.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in educational administration with the appropriate Texas Certificate. Three or more years experience as an effective classroom educator. Assistant Principal or Principal experience preferred. T-TESS certification and AEL certification preferred.
Set based on experience (plus district benefits and a 226 day contract)
