Jayton-Girard ISD is seeking a Band Director for the school year.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid and current Texas teaching certification
- Knowledge and skills necessary to optimize learning for students
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Skill in collaborative consensus building
- Experience is preferred, but not required
- Length of the contract: 11-months
- Expected compensation:
State base + $5500 + 12% + HB2 flow through depending on experience + $8,000 band stipend + daily rate for additional days above 187 - Starting date is August 1, 2026
- Possible school housing is available (rentable)
- Open until filled
