Location: Elgin
Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) - 2026-27 School Year
Location: Elgin, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week
Position OverviewA school district in Texas is seeking a School Psychologist to support two campuses, including a high school and a portion of a middle school. This role follows a TASB-recommended caseload model and focuses on evaluation, assessment, and student support services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psycho educational evaluations, primarily for AU, ED, and related eligibility areas
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as needed
- Participate in SST meetings to review data and determine need for special education referral
- Attend monthly assessment and district SPED meetings
- Collaborate with ARD facilitators (most ARDs are conducted virtually)
- Support students with a wide range of disabilities
- 2 schools (High school + portion of a middle school)
- Active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) license required
