Secondary Teacher

Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Secondary Teacher for Brackett High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and instructing students in grades 9-12 in various subjects. They will create engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide feedback to students and parents.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students and the overall curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and engagement.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
• Attend meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Teaching certification in the state of Texas.
• Experience teaching secondary students preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
