Roby Consolidated Independent School District Position:
Potential Teacher/Coach (2026–2027 School Year)
Roby CISD is seeking motivated, relationship-driven individuals to potentially join our team as a Teacher / Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about developing students both in the classroom and through athletic programs.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality instruction in assigned subject area(s)
- Foster a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment
- Coach and develop student-athletes in assigned sport(s)
- Promote character, accountability, and teamwork within the athletic program
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success across academics and extracurricular activities
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff
- Uphold all district, UIL, and TEA guidelines and expectations
Assignments will be based on applicant strengths and program needs. Multiple sports may be available.
Qualifications:- Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- CDL certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and community
- Commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics
- A team-first mindset
- High expectations with strong support
- A willingness to serve students in multiple capacities
- Pride in representing our school and community
