Part-Time English Kindergarten Teacher

Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a Part-Time English Kindergarten Teacher for our Pearland campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!

Responsibilities of a Part-Time ENGLISH KINDERGARTEN TEACHER include:

• Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.

• Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.

• Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.

• Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.

• Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.

• Documenting children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.

• Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

Requirements of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:

• Bachelor's degree required

• Teaching certification

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development

• Previous teaching experience

• Speak, read, and write English fluently

Preferred

Skills and Abilities

of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:

Schedule of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER

• 8:30am - 2:30pm

• Tuesday and Thursday with the possibility of additional hours

Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am - 2:30pm
