3rd–5th Grade Math Teacher​/Coach

Overview

Calvert ISD is seeking a dedicated and engaging 3rd–5th Grade Math Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and support student achievement in mathematics. The ideal candidate will create a positive and structured classroom environment, deliver standards-based lessons aligned with TEKS, and use data to guide instruction. This position requires collaboration with colleagues, effective communication with parents and staff, and a commitment to helping all students succeed academically.

• Provide high-quality math instruction to 3rd–5th grade students.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student achievement.
• Deliver standards-based lessons aligned with TEKS.
• Use data to guide instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and staff.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (appropriate grade level/content area).
• Knowledge of TEKS and elementary math curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to student growth and academic success.

Salary commensurate with experience
