Primary PurposeProvide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
QualificationsEducation/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university;
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements.
Salary: TEA Teacher Salary Schedule plus $5,000 above state base.
Stipends: $1,000 Master's Stipend; $3,000 SPED Stipend.
Benefits: District pays $400 towards TRS Active Care health insurance;
District pays for $20,000 life insurance; NBISD is a 4-day work week.
