Job DescriptionVACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
SCHOOL YEAR
POSITION: DAEP Teacher/Coach
LOCATION: Pewitt Junior High and High School
Position Summary: Provide students with appropriate instruction to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Position RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree
Licenses / Other- State of Texas Teaching Certificate (REQUIRED)
- CDL Class B expected as part of coaching duties
- Classroom experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage classroom
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Four-Day School Week
- Retention Stipends
- Excellent health insurance benefits
- One-time CDL Class B stipend, if applicable
