Boys Head Basketball Coach / Secondary Teacher
Location:
Elysian Fields ISD High School, Elysian Fields, Texas.
In this dual role the candidate will serve as the Boys Head Basketball Coach while teaching a core academic subject. The position requires effective instruction of student athletes, adherence to UIL regulations, and management of classroom and athletic activities.
Education & Certification- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate
- Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
- Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
