Position Summary:

The elementary teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction that supports academic growth, student well-being, and a positive campus culture. The ideal candidate is student-centered, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement while maintaining high expectations for all learners.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
  • Use data-informed, developmentally appropriate strategies to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students.
  • Establish a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, respectful behavior, and a love of learning.
  • Apply ongoing assessment practices to monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and provide timely feedback to students and families.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and campus leadership to strengthen instructional practices and align with campus and district goals.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with parents and guardians to support student success.
  • Fulfill all professional responsibilities, including lesson planning, supervision duties, documentation, and participation in professional development.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Hold a valid Texas teaching certificate in Elementary Education.
  • Possess a strong understanding of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
  • Experience using formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to collaboration.
  • Both new and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with instructional best practices such as explicit instruction, purposeful student talk, and structured lesson design.

Compensation

Salary and benefits are provided in accordance with the district compensation plan and applicable Texas Education Code requirements.
