Morton ISD is currently seeking a Elementary Generalist Teacher with Math experience.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire students in the classroom.

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
• Elementary certification preferred (or enrollment in an alternative certification program required)
• Strong knowledge of assigned subjects and instructional practices
• Effective classroom management and student engagement skills
• Ability to motivate students and build confidence for lifelong success
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• ESL certification preferred

• 4-day school week (Monday–Thursday) for improved work-life balance
• Competitive salary
• 90% of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) paid directly to teachers
• TEA-approved TIA district

Current TIA Tier 4 Allotments:

• Master Teacher: $28,975
• Exemplary Teacher: $16,185
• Recognized Teacher: $8,092
