Job Title: Junior High Science Teacher
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Science/Education/Math or related field.
Experience: 24 months.
License: Applicant must have a teaching license.
Salary: $44,250/Year.
Job duties:
- Teach one or more core subjects (such as Math, Science) using a variety of methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands‑on activities.
- Plan and deliver lessons that align with the district curriculum and support student academic growth.
- Set clear learning goals and guide students through lessons, projects, and assessments to help them succeed.
- Create and maintain classroom rules that promote respect, responsibility, and a positive learning environment.
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
- Communicate academic performance and behavior concerns with families and school staff as needed.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development to stay updated on effective teaching strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and support staff to develop and implement individual student plans when needed.
- Use instructional technology and tools to enhance lessons and support student learning.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date student records.
