Job Description
Assist classroom teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Start Date:
August 2026
Salary Range: (Based on Compensation Plan)
Minimum: $11.77/hour
Midpoint: $13.32/hour
Salary commensurate with related experience
Employment Days: 187
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Have met formal academic assessment, associate’s degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning
- Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (District will recommend to TEA once candidate is selected)
- Ability to work with small children
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of general office equipment
