Location: Willis

Step into an impactful, full-time contract opportunity supporting students academic and emotional growth for the upcoming school year. This position is tailored for a skilled School Psychologist with a keen understanding of working within secondary education environments. You'll work on two middle school campuses, offering your expertise in assessments, evaluations, and providing targeted counseling services where needed.

Your primary focus will be conducting thorough student evaluations, participating actively in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and lending support for minimal, yet meaningful, counseling interventions. With a PRN caseload for evaluations, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality psychological services that directly influence student well‑being and academic outcomes.

Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist is required
  • Experience or strong familiarity with secondary/middle school settings
  • Proficiency in conducting student assessments, creating reports, and making actionable recommendations
  • Confidence participating in ARDs and collaborating with educational teams
  • Ability to provide brief, solution‑focused counseling services as needed
  • Outstanding communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptable and resourceful, thriving in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
  • Provide professional insight during ARD meetings and help develop individualized education plans
  • Consult with staff and families to support student success
  • Offer minimal, as‑needed counseling for students requiring emotional or behavioral support
  • Maintain all required records and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
