ICI Education Group is an organization that consults and assists Chinese high school students in their college applications to the US, UK, Canada, and other countries. The group is looking for foreign expert consultants (part‑time or full‑time). The ideal candidate is a graduate of a top‑20 university or liberal‑arts college in the United States.

Job Summary

The Foreign Expert Consultant is responsible for fulfilling a range of duties related to the college application process for foreign students. The role involves meeting with clients, editing application documents, and representing the company professionally.

Essential Functions
  • College Application Documents Editing – translating, editing, finalizing student essays, resumes, recommendation letters, and other documents.
  • One‑on‑one Student Consultation – meeting with students for approximately an hour on weekends to discuss school choice, summer activities, and other tips and advice.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Substantial living and studying experience in a Western country.
  • Native English speaker with proficient English writing skills.
  • Reliable character.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Operating System and Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Mandarin Chinese skills required for inter‑office communication (reading, speaking, listening).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a writing‑intensive major (e.g., English literature, history, political science, philosophy, psychology, journalism) from a prestigious (top‑20) university or liberal‑arts college.
  • Substantial living and studying experience in a Western country.
  • Native English speaker with substantial experience in journalism, editing, copyediting, writing, or publications.
  • Reliable character with strong references.
  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese (reading, listening, speaking, translating, and writing).
  • Experience with Chinese edition Microsoft Operating System and Office suite.
  • Passion for helping Chinese students study abroad.
