Purpose:
Facilitate the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the Section 504 and Dyslexia programs. Coordinate and implement all state and federal mandated assessments.
Minimum
Education/Certification:
Master's degree, preferred Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Specific knowledge of providing Section 504 services, including dyslexia interventions General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of state and federal mandated assessments Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Ability to facilitate and/or lead meetings related to Section 504 and dyslexia services and state testing procedures
Experience:
Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
