High School Instructional Aide
Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities.
Position Requirements- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Para Professional Certification or Associate's degree with two years of study at an institution of higher learning.
- Valid Texas education aide certificate.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- District pays $400 towards TRS Active Care health insurance.
- District pays $20,000 life insurance.
- NBISD offers a 4-day work week.
