adjunct agricultural sciences/agribusiness professor (workforce pathway)

the salary for this position is $700 per credit hour.

• teaches no more than 9 credit hours per semester (75% of time).
• works as a team member in the sciences department and complies with all faculty responsibilities per college policies (10%).
• contributes to campus assessment by measuring and reporting student learning outcomes to meet thecb core objectives and sacscoc requirements (10%).
• performs other duties as assigned by the dean, associate dean or department chair (5%).

• bachelor’s degree or higher in agricultural sciences from an accredited college or university, or associate’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in the field of agricultural sciences.
• previous successful experience teaching in agricultural science at the community college level or high school; professional experience may be held as equivalent.
• demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.
• collegial attitude with college community and outside entities.
• strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.
• experience tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans.
• excellent computer and multimedia skills.
• security‑sensitive position requiring criminal background check.
