Location: Ballinger
Overview
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- One of the following additional qualifications outlined in Texas Education Code § 29.167(b):
- Associate or bachelor degree in early childhood education or related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or another early childhood education credential approved by the Texas Education Agency
- Certification offered through a training center accredited by Association Montessori International or through the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education
- At least eight years' experience of teaching in a nationally accredited child care program or a Texas Rising Star Program
State Base credited 0-20+ range $33,960-$55,030
