Adjunct Faculty refers to an educator hired to teach on a course‑by‑course basis throughout an academic year.

• Teach up to seven semester credit hours (up to two courses) in the required discipline.
• Deliver instruction on campus, off‑campus, or online as directed by department needs.
• Develop and manage the class syllabus to meet department and college standards.
• Plan and create lectures, in‑class discussions, and assignments.
• Assess student grades based on participation, performance, assignments, and examinations.
• Assist and mentor students as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Position is Face‑to‑Face only at the Commerce Campus.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field or a terminal degree relevant to the discipline.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• Communication:
  Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Other qualifications:
  Ability to multi‑task, work cooperatively with others, flexible schedule, and ability to travel.
• Recommended: TEA teacher’s certification.

• Current relevant professional credentials.
• College or university teaching experience.
• Evidence of teaching excellence.
• Prior relevant industry experience.
• Online or hybrid teaching experience.
