Co-Habiting in Mountain Recreational Spaces
The candidate must hold a Doctorate in social sciences (preferably in geography, planning and urbanism, sociology). They should have significant knowledge in the field of tourism and at least one of the three project axes (work, housing, public spaces). They should have solid knowledge of mountain spaces. They should be familiar with approaches that consider social power and domination relations, and with the critical analysis of public policies.
They should demonstrate a strong ability to work in teams, excellent writing skills, and the ability to value project results to different audiences (academic and professional). They should master qualitative data collection and processing methods (observations, semi-directive interviews) and possibly quantitative methods (questionnaires).
The position will be located in Champs-sur-Marne (Université Gustave Eiffel, 77420). Travel to the Alps will be required for the conduct of surveys.
