Substitute Teacher

We are seeking substitute teachers to work at various schools within our district. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments. Responsibilities include following lesson plans left by the absent teacher or creating and implementing your own lesson plans, maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment, providing instruction to students in a variety of subjects and grade levels, assessing student learning and adjusting instruction accordingly, and communicating with school staff.

Requirements include a certificate of high school or equivalency, teaching certification preferred but not required, experience working with students in a classroom setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different teaching styles and environments, flexibility to work at various schools within the district, and the ability to pass a background check.
