Secondary Teacher

We are seeking a full-time Secondary Teacher for Brackett High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and instructing students in grades 9-12 in various subjects. They will create engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide feedback to students and parents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students and the overall curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and engagement
• Assess student performance regularly and provide feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
• Attend meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification in the state of Texas
• Experience teaching secondary students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
