Bilingual First Grade Teacher

The Aubrey Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Bilingual First Grade Teacher in our high-quality bilingual program. The appointee will report directly to the campus principal.

Appropriate certification;
Prekindergarten requires appropriate certification along with special education (preferred) and bilingual certifications.

AND one of the following:

A graduate or undergraduate degree in early childhood education or early childhood special education or a non-early childhood education degree with a documented minimum of 15 units of coursework in early childhood education;

A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential;

A certification offered through a training center accredited by Association Montessori Internationale or though the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education;

At least eight years' experience of teaching in a nationally accredited childcare program;

Documented completion of the Texas School Ready Training Program (TSR Comprehensive); or

150 hours of professional development addressing the 2015 Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.

The principal on the basis of training, experience, and interest will recommend the appointment of this position to the Superintendent.
