Childress Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Elementary Teacher. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students in grades K-5. The successful candidate will inspire young learners, promote academic excellence, and support the social and emotional development of each child.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and the school's curriculum.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal methods, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special needs and English language learners.
• Foster a love of learning by incorporating creative teaching methods and hands‑on activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with educational best practices.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful environment for all students.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with parents and the community.
• Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Experience in teaching or student teaching at the elementary level is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
