Job Summary
To support and co‑labor with the Lead Pastor in teaching, shepherding, and equipping the saints of Green Acres Baptist Church Flint Campus; to transform lives with the truth of Jesus.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Partner with the Lead Pastor / Executive Pastor to shepherd and care for the assigned campus by owning, modeling, and implementing the vision and values of the church.
- Provide gospel clarity through teaching, pastoral moments, and spiritual development of the Flint campus.
- Focus on the gospel mission within the church and throughout the surrounding community by intentionally equipping the saints for ministry and developing ministry leaders.
- Know the ministry, people (staff, volunteers, Flint congregation) and communities through intentional connection, spiritual development, counseling, and discipleship.
- Oversee ministry budget.
- Lead in the recruitment, development and care of campus staff and volunteers.
- Oversee Sunday services, teaching, and providing leadership for Flint Campus staff.
- Ensure GABC central ministry plans are implemented at the campus level and provide timely feedback as needed.
- Partner with leadership staff to identify and address campus execution and operations issues.
- Conduct general pastoral responsibilities alongside other pastoral and ministry staff, including weddings, funerals, baptisms, visitations, and pastoral counseling.
- Support the Lead Pastor / Executive Pastor as requested regarding any other area of ministry.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ Years of ministry in a leadership capacity.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during sermons, services, and events.
- Capability to move around the church campus, including walking, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting light items (e.g., chairs, books, communion supplies).
- Willingness to travel locally for visitations, community outreach, or church‑related events.
