Job Title

Professor of Percussions - F/H

Under the direct supervision of the director of the establishment, you will be responsible for the following missions:

• Teaching your specialty
• Following and evaluating your students (notably via the imuse software)
• Participating in the pedagogical reflection and the implementation of the establishment project
• Ensuring artistic awareness and updating of your practice
• Working in collaboration with the ensembles and the various classes
• Ensuring the follow-up of the material necessary for your discipline
• Contributing to the musical life of the school in the dynamic of the development of artistic projects
• Participating in the different cultural events organized by the urban community
• Promoting the class through the implementation of the establishment project

Intercommunal Music and Dance School

Rue Henri Odièvre in Saint Romain de Colbosc

Working hours vary depending on the obligations of the service

Required skills:

State diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of the obligations of the civil servant, of the status of the territorial civil service

Knowledge of the pedagogical orientation scheme and the charter of artistic education

Knowledge of the repertoire of the instrument taught and the techniques of pedagogy

Mastery of the instrumental technique

Musical culture

Ability to supervise a group of students, to accompany a class over 2 cycles of education

Capacity for adaptation: adjust your speech according to the age of the students

Ability to fit into a collective project of the establishment and teaching

Position open on the following grades of the Territorial Public Service:
Assistant of artistic education, Assistant of artistic education principal of 1st class, Assistant of artistic education principal of 2nd class

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
