Assistant Teaching Artist - Singing

The Havre Seine Metropole is recruiting for its music school an Assistant Teaching Artist principal of 2nd class (Discipline: singing) on a part-time basis (8/20ths). This agent will be responsible for supporting the school's music policy within the framework of the Pedagogical Orientation Scheme, through the missions outlined in the charter of artistic education.

In addition to traditional pedagogical skills required in teaching this discipline, this agent must demonstrate complementary and cross-disciplinary skills in opening disciplines or practices, skills that will be offered to a wider audience than the class assigned to them.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of the establishment, this agent will be responsible for the following missions:

• Teach singing
• Follow students in collaboration with the team using the iMuse software
• Participate in the implementation of the establishment's project
• Contribute to pedagogical reflection within the teaching team
• Work in collaboration with the teaching and administrative team
• Participate in all innovative pedagogical practices (group pedagogy...)
• Participate in the life of the school (auditions, meetings)
• Contribute to the cultural dynamics of the establishment and its territory

Location, days, and working hours:
Music and Dance School Intercommunal - rue Henri Odièvre 76430 Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc. Working hours vary depending on service obligations.

Required skills:

• Holder of the State Diploma and/or significant experience in artistic education in a similar position desired
• Openness to new aesthetics and varied pedagogies and justification of an artistic personal journey
• Proven skills in teaching the discipline
• Artistic openness and pedagogical innovation spirit
• Pedagogical know-how
