Position: Instructional Aide- AG (Part-Time)
Location: Mullin

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Instructional Aide at Mullin Main. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students in an agricultural education setting. The Instructional Aide will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and providing individualized support to students.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing instructional activities related to agricultural education.
  • Support students in understanding lesson content, providing clarification and guidance as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment.
  • Work with small groups of students to reinforce learning objectives and facilitate hands‑on activities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher regarding individual student needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and resources for lessons.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
  • Support classroom management and behavioral expectations to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to identify and address student needs and challenges.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in agriculture or education preferred.
  • Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural concepts and practices is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs and schedules.
  • Must pass background checks as required by the school district.
