Missions

Organise and carries out the welcome and activities that contribute to the development of the child within the framework of the educational project of the service or structure.

Technical activities:

• Welcome of children, parents or parental substitutes;
• Creation and implementation of the necessary conditions for the well-being of children;
• Help to the child in the acquisition of autonomy;
• Development and implementation of children's activity projects;
• Implementation of safety and hygiene rules;
• Participation in the development of the establishment project.

- Socio-professional knowledge:

• Specific ergonomics for the reception places of young children;
• Child psychology notions;
• Basic principles of body hygiene (toilet, change, clothing, etc.);
• Basic rules in dietetics and food hygiene of the young child;
• Principles of indoor air quality and vigilance regarding the chemical composition of toys, bottles, hygiene and maintenance products.

- General knowledge:

• Active listening, communication and observation techniques;
• Regulation and conflict resolution techniques;
• Social evolutions of different family forms;
• Regulations in parental authority;
• Educational and pedagogical project of the structure;
• Principles of territorial organization.
