Missions

Organise and carries out the welcome and activities that contribute to the development of the child within the framework of the educational project of the service or structure.

Technical activities:

• Welcome of children, parents or parental substitutes;
• Creation and implementation of the conditions necessary for the well-being of children;
• Help to the child in the acquisition of autonomy;
• Elaboration and implementation of children's activity projects;
• Implementation of safety and hygiene rules;
• Participation in the elaboration of the establishment project.

Socio-professional knowledge:

• Specific ergonomics notions for the places of welcome of the young child;
• Notions of child psychology;
• Principles of body hygiene (toilet, change, dressing, etc.);
• Basic rules in dietetics and food hygiene of the young child;
• Principles of indoor air quality and vigilance as to the chemical composition of toys, bottles, hygiene and maintenance products.

General knowledge:

• Active listening, communication and observation techniques;
• Regulation and conflict resolution techniques;
• Social evolutions of the different forms of families;
• Notions of regulation in terms of parental authority;
• Educational and pedagogical project of the structure;
• Principles of territorial organization.

Art. L332-14 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited on this position in the waiting of recruitment of a civil servant. The proposed contract cannot exceed one year, renewable within the limit of a total duration of 2 years.
