Job Title

Vos missions en quelques mots

It involves replacing a teacher in Letters-History in the TREPORT sector in a public institution of the Normandy Academy for a determined period of about 1 month and full-time of 18 hours or part-time depending on the needs of replacement.

The contracts are for a determined period with the possibility of renewal.

The mission of the second degree teacher is:

· To live and transmit the values of the Republic

· To develop the knowledge and skills of students, their critical spirit

· To accompany students in professional discovery

· To lead students to become citizens

· To contribute to the construction of the educational and school journey of students, to the transmission of knowledge and to the construction of skills within the framework of the programs or national references

· To ensure a service that includes teaching time, course preparation time, evaluation of written or oral productions, time for dialogue with parents for student follow-up, time for visiting companies for follow-up of periods of training in professional environment, time for participation in the life of the institution (class council, teaching council, pedagogical council...) and team consultation.

· To analyze special educational needs and implement differentiated and adapted pedagogical practices.

• The educational system, its organization and its challenges

• Disciplinary knowledge and their didactics

• Learning processes and mechanisms

• Modalities of student evaluation

• Some elements related to the psychology and sociology of the child and adolescent

Teachers are placed under the responsibility of the head of the institution where they exercise and are subject to his authority and the internal regulations of the institution.

In the framework of its functions, the agent is subject to the same obligations as the holders of the public service, to the principle of secularism, to the respect of the individual and must behave in an ethical and responsible manner.

The agent will be accompanied in his taking of function by the head of the establishment and the inspection bodies to facilitate his professional adaptation. He may benefit from tutoring and training.

After having exercised for 6 continuous years (without interruption exceeding 4 months), it is possible to conclude a contract for an indefinite period.

Contract teachers forge valuable professional experience, which can be beneficial if they wish to access the status of a civil servant by means of competition.

Indeed, after having accumulated three years of public service, subject to meeting all the conditions, they may access the internal recruitment competitions of teachers (excluding aggregation).

They may also, subject to meeting the necessary conditions, apply for an external competition.
