Within the Education and Sports Department of the municipality of Déville-lès-Rouen, under the authority of the director of extracurricular activities, you will be responsible for the animation within the after-school and extracurricular care structures of the municipality. Your main duties will include:

• Welcome children and/or adolescents and their families
• Supervise a group of children in the context of after-school activities (morning, noon and evening during school periods) and extracurricular times
• Be the point of contact for teachers, parents, children and stakeholders
• Ensure the physical, moral and emotional safety of children

Working conditions:

• Full-time position. Fixed-term contract for 1 year
• Annualized hours based on 1607 hours
• Work on several sites (ADL structure and elementary or pre-elementary schools)

Additional information:

• Statutory remuneration

Profile:

• Holder of the BAFA or equivalent required
• PSC1 training desired
• Experience in animation appreciated

Required skills and qualities:

• Knowledge of animation and supervision techniques
• Understanding of the rhythms of children and adolescents
• Knowledge of first aid measures
• Methodology for constructing an activity cycle
• Ability to implement activities of awakening, sports, cultural and artistic nature
• Ability to write and implement an animation project
• Ability to rally a group of children on activity projects
• Ability to identify, regulate conflicts and alert his/her hierarchy
• Autonomy

Contract duration: 12 months
