PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

Manages student learning in accordance with the goals and directives of the school and the District.

  Education/Certification:
  
  High School Diploma/GED
• Must have knowledge of assigned curriculum
• Knowledge of instructional methods
• Lesson planning skills
• Lesson presentation skills
• Conflict resolution skills
• Classroom management skills
• Group interaction skills
• Technology skills preferred
• Must be able to monitor and observe student behavior
• Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and community
• Must attend after school and night time activities occasionally
• Must maintain emotional control in all situations
• Must perform medium work effort (exerting up to 50 lbs) occasionally
• Be able to bend, stoop and reach fully above head
• Possess acute and/or corrected visual and hearing capabilities
• Possess good mental health in order to perform all job requirements
• Be average or better in energy, health and vitality
• Possess a high level of mental capability
