• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students with exceptional needs
• Familiarity with life skills curriculum and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills

• Deliver tailored instruction to elementary students in life skills classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment geared toward each child’s strengths
• Use progress monitoring tools and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with therapists, aides, and related service providers
• Provide guidance and support to families, ensuring clear communication around student progress
• Create engaging, accessible lesson plans and activities
