Assistant Teacher (Sped
2) In Class Support (Elementary) for the  school year

• Job Description and Current Compensation Plan are attached.
• This position is in the Pay Grade 2 category

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 48 college hours required
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate (the District will assist the employee in obtaining this certificate)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to work with children with disabilities
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of general office equipment

Experience:

• Experience working with children preferred
