High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

• Must have knowledge of assigned curriculum; knowledge of instructional methods
• Must have lesson planning skills
• Must have lesson presentation skills
• Must have conflict resolution skills
• Must have classroom management skills
• Must have group interaction skills
• Technology skills preferred

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to monitor and observe student behavior
• Must be able to attend after school and night time activities occasionally
• Must be able to maintain emotional control in all situations
• Must be able to do medium work effort exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
• Be able to bend and stoop and reach fully above head
• Possess acute and/or corrected visual and hearing capabilities
• Possess good mental health in order to perform all job requirements
• Be average or better in energy, health and vitality
• Possess a high level of mental capability
