Job Description
Primary
Purpose:
Direct and manage the operations of the district childcare center. Plan and implement operations and program following the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and district guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Thorough understanding of childcare center operations
- Effective organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills Ability to coordinate center functions
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of state childcare guidelines and licensing requirements Ability to manage budget and personnel
Experience: Two years experience in a licensed childcare center
