• Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification required
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to cultivating an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet students unique learning needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required documentation
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes growth and confidence
• Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing case management

This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule
35 hours per week, 5 days per week allowing you to focus on each students development while maintaining work-life balance. Youll work with a manageable elementary caseload in a forward-thinking district that values special educators.
