Instructional Aide

Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide

Alba-Golden ISD is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide to support learning. This position works closely with the classroom teachers to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes student growth and development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities
• Support students with learning tasks, routines, and transitions
• Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization
• Monitor and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, playground
• Assist with other campus activities/duties as needed
• Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate preferred
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with students
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check
