Position Type: Substitute Teacher
Location: Roby Consolidated Independent School District
Reports To: Campus Principal
Roby CISD is seeking qualified, dedicated individuals to serve as substitute teachers for all grade levels. Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining a productive and supportive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with district policies.
- Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas.
- Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the campus principal.
- High school diploma or equivalent (college hours or degree preferred).
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work on short notice.
- Must complete all Roby CISD onboarding and background check requirements.
