The College of Business (COB) at East Texas A&M University is seeking a rank-open faculty member in Management Science focused on Supply Chain/Operations. The position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure track position.

The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in management science fields with a heavy focus on supply chain areas including operations, efficiency, production, logistics, etc. This position will report to the Department of Management, Marketing, and Management Science and will contribute through teaching, research, and service.

• Develop, implement, and review effective teaching/learning processes, incorporating appropriate methodology, technology and other tools;
• Participate in curriculum development and assessment as needed;
• Remain current in discipline and update course content when appropriate;
• Follow university and system polices;
• Adhere to AACSB accreditation standards and faculty qualifications;
• Maintain appropriate schedule of office hours;
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to support program development and community engagement;
• Participate in institutional, college and departmental service roles as assigned;
• Other duties as assigned by the Department Head and/or Dean.

• Education:
  
  A terminal degree in a relevant business field of study from a university with an AACSB accredited business program aligned with Supply Chain Operations
• Experience / Knowledge /
  
  Skills:
  
  Earned terminal degree in the field within the past five years and/or peer reviewed journal publications within the last 5 years sufficient to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status and supportive of a university with R2 research status
• Must be able to be qualified as graduate faculty

• Holds one or more relevant and active credentials such as Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Production & Inventory Management, Certified Logistics, Transportation, & Distribution, ISM Professional in Supply Management, Certified Lean Practitioner, or Lean Six Sigma.
