Full-Time Preschool Para educator for our 4-Year-Old Classrooms who loves early childhood education and wants to be part of a supportive team focused on helping our youngest learners grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

This is a full-time para educator role dedicated exclusively to supporting our 4-year-old preschool classrooms.

Position OverviewUnder the supervision of the building principal and direction of the classroom teacher, the Preschool Para educator works full-time in the 4-year-old preschool setting. This role is vital in supporting instruction, student engagement, classroom management, and daily routines to ensure a safe, structured, and welcoming learning environment.
What You'll Do- Support certified classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing daily classroom routines
- Work directly with individual students or small groups during play-based activities and learning centers
- Assist with classroom management, transitions, and daily routines
- Help implement learning activities, social-emotional guidance, and positive behavior interventions
- Help maintain a safe, clean, structured, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build nurturing and supportive relationships with students
- Assist with student supervision across classroom activities, meal/snack times, and outdoor play
- Basic understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to young children
- Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with young children or in a school setting preferred
- Health certificate on file
- Child abuse certificate on file
Active classroom environment requiring standing, walking, sitting on the floor, movement, and lifting of classroom materials and equipment. Work is performed in a standard school and early childhood classroom setting.
