This is a multi-level posting. Applicants may apply for positions for which they possess at least the minimum education and/or experience. Applicants with experience beyond the minimum will be considered for the advanced level.

Associate Solar Technician

* High school diploma or general education degree and one to three years of experience in power plant operation or maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience, including relevant military experience

* A valid US driver's license is required.

* Salary Range: $28.51 - $40.24

Solar Technician I

* Two plus years of field experience in Instrumentation/Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (I&C), C&I Electrician, or comparable military occupational specialties involving electrical, mechanical, or power generation systems.

* A valid US driver's license is required.

* Salary Range: $32.84 - $46.35

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation.

* Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining a power facility.

* Inspect and monitor equipment to detect malfunctions, need for repair, adjustment or lubrication.

* Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintain a power facility.

* Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.

* Must be able to perform work independently and/or in work crews.

* Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
