Pipeline Technicians at Enterprise Products play a vital role in maintaining and operating crude oil pipelines and associated equipment in Gonzales, Texas. This position involves hands‑on work with pumps, valves, control systems, and instrumentation, ensuring safe and efficient pipeline operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in electrical and instrumentation work within the energy sector.

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required)
  • VoTech certificate, Associates degree, or related work experience (preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of electrical and instrumentation experience (required)
  • Journeyman electrical designation (highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of crude oil pipeline operations and maintenance
  • Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with AC voltage (120‑480), three phase and single phase, plus 24 VDC
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Minimum 3 years stable work history, preferably in the energy industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions
  • Willingness to work overtime and respond to call‑outs
  • Must live within 1 hour response time of job assignment
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to wear safety and emergency equipment as required
