Plains is seeking Pipeline Operators to operate and maintain pipeline systems, pump stations, tanks, and gathering facilities in Shiner, Texas. These operators will oversee product movements, inspections, compliance activities, custody transfers, and routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient crude oil transportation. The role is ideal for experienced pipeline professionals who enjoy working independently, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting critical oil and gas infrastructure.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pipeline knowledge and experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain required operator qualifications
• Ability to complete Haz-Mat training
• Ability to meet DOT requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations
• Ability to pass background checks
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Authorization to work in the United States

• Experience managing pump stations and crude oil shipping operations
• Experience with custody transfer activities
• Experience performing DOT compliance inspections
• Experience with meter proving and pipeline pigging operations
• Knowledge of fluid flow calculations and batch scheduling
• Experience with sampling equipment and crude oil measurement procedures
