Position: E&I Specialist / Sr E&I Specialist
Location: Pineland

Position Summary

Boardwalk Pipelines LP is seeking an E&I Specialist / Sr E&I Specialist to work at our Magasco Compressor Station in Pineland, TX. The role will focus on testing and maintaining instrument and electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations, and participating in on‑call duties with occasional unscheduled work.

Responsibilities
  • Test and maintain instruments and electrical equipment on auxiliary equipment, turbines, and related facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Perform unscheduled or emergency work as required.
  • Maintain tools and equipment assigned to the position.
  • Advocate safe work practices and lead projects as appropriate.
  • Work with minimal supervision and act as lead on projects.
  • Participate in on‑call duties and respond to callouts.
  • Document compliance and complete operator qualification tasks assigned to the position.
  • Reside within 30 miles of the Magasco Compressor Station to respond to callouts quickly.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Instrument and electrical maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs and ability to read and follow company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet, operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns, and work alone in extreme weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to operate an all‑terrain vehicle.
  • Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • 4+ years of natural gas operations and maintenance experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience on pipeline operating systems and DOT 192 knowledge.
  • Associate degree or certificate in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an accredited institution.
Required Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education
  • Associate’s or Technical Degree.
