This is a full-time, on-site position. The BIM Manager will lead BIM strategy and execution on the project, ensuring that workflows, standards, and data structures are clearly defined, consistently implemented, and followed by all project team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing BIM coordination meetings, managing model federation and clash detection, and aligning model data with procurement, fabrication, and field installation needs.

The BIM Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, general contractors, electrical trade partners, and constructability experts to produce accurate models and reliable information flows. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans, training and mentoring BIM coordinators and modelers, and driving continuous improvement of BIM processes through documented quality controls and captured best practices.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a workflow within an electrical trade environment, including model setup, standards, and data management, with the ability to build field trust and buy-in
  • Experience with BIM coordination in data center or large-scale commercial projects, including clash detection, model federation, and multidisciplinary trade coordination
  • Background in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), with the ability to connect electrical models to planning, scheduling, prefabrication, and field execution
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems — power distribution, conduit routing, cable tray, and gear placement — and their integration within complex data center environments
  • Familiarity with trade coordination workflows involving other disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, structural), with the ability to represent electrical interests effectively
  • Proven ability to lead BIM-related meetings and communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders including GCs, engineers, and field teams
  • Proficiency with common BIM and coordination platforms, including Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, or similar tools
  • Ability to define, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans, standards, and workflow best practices
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset rooted in quality and accountability
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in electrical, engineering, or construction
